Blackwood Cafe is well-known in the Mitchelton Community and services a range of different people. Whether you want to run in for a quick take-away coffee before work, have a boozy brunch date with your bestie or bring the whole family for Sunday Breakfast on the weekend; there is something for everyone!

As one of the largest cafes on Blackwood Street, the cafe can seat up to 130 people at capacity. The seating is spread over 3 areas (2 outside alfresco areas and one dining room inside.

If you are walking by on a weekend; don't let the masses put you off, service is still kept fast and efficient no matter how full the cafe gets.

We have prided ourselves on growing a massive multi-skilled and multi-facetted team whilst evolving our processes and procedures in-house to ensure our crew is giving the fastest possible service no matter how big the crowd gets (and let me tell you... the crowd gets BIG!).

If you are asking a local; they will tell you that Blackwood Cafe is famous for their MASSIVE soup-bowl sized coffees (4 shots for just $6.00 OR 5 shots for just $6.50).

If you haven't noticed already - everything at Blackwood is BIG, so why stop here... their super large four page all-day breakfast and lunch menu definitely deserves a shout-out along with their massive range of Gluten Free, Vegetarian & Vegan options that are also permanently available on the menu.

And if for any reason you don't want something 'big'... they have a massive display cabinet packed to the brim full of delicious desserts and "grab and go style" lunch options that all comes heated or toasted for your convenience.
